The main spatial structure layout can be summarized as “one center, two axises, three circles and five districts”; while according to the conditions of the relics’ allocations, mountain and water patterns, transportation networks and human distributions etc., the park are divided into five functional divisions: ecological Lake entrance, Liangzhu ancient city relics area, arts and entertainment experience area, eco-agriculture experience area and original culture display area.

The aims of the conference are : to explore and discuss the threats as well as the potentials for the lowlands and deltas of the future; to discuss the relationship of the intensification of farming in and around cities with the water management systems in lowlands and deltas ; to study the potentials for the safeguarding of ecosystems and landscapes in these areas; to take up the challenge for new multifunctional land use concepts ; to present and discuss methods on how to bring knowledge, ideas, visions and concepts to the market.

In the course of consultations with key constituencies (Member States, United Nations and academia) around the desirability of preparing a draft universal declaration of ethical principles in relation to climate change, it became clear that significant work is needed on the upstream clarification of basic ethical principles, including but not limited to climate change issues, along with downstream development of practical policy tools.

Assistance focuses on (a) establishing legal and policy frameworks consistent with international standards and norms; (b) strengthening the capacity of domestic institutions, in particular anti-corruption bodies and criminal justice institutions, to effectively prevent and control corruption in an integrated and coordinated way; (c) enhancing integrity, accountability and transparency in public and private sectors, including the management of public resources; (d) supporting relevant Government institutions in international cooperation and the recovery of assets at the domestic and international levels; (e) development of strategic and thematic partnerships with members of the international community and United Nations system to ensure coherency in the delivery of technical assistance; and (f) supporting the establishment of networks and platforms for policy dialogue and peer learning among Member States at the regional and international levels.

For its part, Viet Nam would develop a plan of action to implement effectively the universal periodic review recommendations and would stand ready to discuss and share experience with all countries and international organizations to better ensure human rights in Viet Nam and the world.

The outputs to be delivered under this component are set out in paragraph 29C.35 of the budget document, and include the provision of a wide array of training programmes designed to build and sustain the Organization’s leadership and managerial capacity; improve the human and financial resources management expertise of programme managers and staff with administrative responsibilities; upgrade the information technology skills of Secretariat staff; build and strengthen linguistic capabilities; and support career development and upgrade substantive skills.
