Mies van der Rohe
/ˌmiːzvændəˈrəʊə,〈德〉 ˌmiːs van deːɐ ˈroːə/- Mies van der Rohe, Ludwig (1886-1969), German-born architect and designer. He designed the German pavilion at the 1929 International Exhibition at Barcelona and the Seagram Building in New York (1954-8), and was noted for his tubular steel furniture. He was director of the Bauhaus 1930-3.密斯·范德罗厄, 路德维希（1886-1969, 德国出生的建筑师、设计师; 设计了1929年巴塞罗那国际博览会德国馆和纽约西格拉姆大厦[1954-1958], 并以钢管装饰著名; 曾任包豪斯建筑学院院长[1930-1933]）。
