Lipari Islands
/ˈlɪpərɪ,〈意〉 lipˈparɪ/- a group of seven volcanic islands in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the NE coast of Sicily, and in Italian possession. Believed by the ancient Greeks to be the home of Aeolus, the islands were formerly known as the Aeolian Islands.
