John III
- (1624-1696) , king of Poland 1674-1696; known as John Sobieski. In 1683 he relieved Vienna when it was besieged by the Turks, thereby becoming the hero of the Christian world.约翰三世（1624-1696, 波兰国王[1674-1696]; 通称约翰·索别斯基, 1683年为土耳其人包围下的维也纳解围, 因而成为基督教的英雄）。
