- a member of a group of people in Ethiopia who hold the Jewish faith but use Ge'ez rather than Hebrew as a liturgical language. The Falashas were not formally recognized as Jews until 1975, and many of them were airlifted to Israel in 1984-5 and after.法拉沙人(居住在埃塞俄比亚, 信仰犹太教, 但宗教仪式不用希伯来语而用吉兹语, 1975年才被承认为犹太人, 其中的许多人在1984-1985或其后的年间由飞机接回以色列)。
