Zhukov
/ˈʒuːkɒf/- Zhukov, Georgi (Konstantinovich) (1896-1974), Soviet military leader, born in Russia. In the course of the Second World War he defeated the Germans at Stalingrad (1943), lifted the siege of Leningrad (1944), and led the final assault on Germany and the capture of Berlin (1945).
