Confederate States
(亦作the Confederacy)
- the eleven Southern states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia) which seceded from the United States in 1860-1, thus precipitating the American Civil War美国南部邦联（指1860-1861年退出美利坚合众国, 因而导致美国内战的南方十一州, 即：亚拉巴马、阿肯色、佛罗里达、佐治亚、路易斯安那、密西西比、北卡罗来纳、南卡罗来纳、田纳西、得克萨斯和弗吉尼亚）。
