/ˈsɪsərəʊ/- Cicero, Marcus Tullius (106-43 BC), Roman statesman, orator, and writer. As an orator and writer Cicero established a model for Latin prose; his surviving works include speeches, treatises on rhetoric, philosophical works, and letters.
