Charcot
/ˈʃɑːkəʊ,〈法〉 ʃaʀko/- Charcot, Jean-Martin (1825-93), French neurologist, regarded as one of the founders of modern neurology. He established links between neurological conditions and particular lesions in the central nervous system.
