Brandenburg
/ˈbrændənbɜːg,〈德〉 ˈbrandnˌbʊrk/- a state of NE Germany; capital, Potsdam. The modern state corresponds to the western part of the former Prussian electorate, of which the eastern part was ceded to Poland after the Second World War.勃兰登堡（德国东北部的一个州, 首府波茨坦; 现该州所在地即前普鲁士选帝侯领地的西部, 该领地的东部在第二次世界大战以后划归波兰）。
