Borlaug
/ˈbɔːlɔːg/- Borlaug, Norman Ernest (1914-2009), American scientist, a central figure in the green revolution. He has worked for many years on the improvement of wheat crops and the adaptation of new strains of wheat to parts of the world where it has not previously been grown.
