Blue Nile
- one of the two principal headwaters of the Nile. Rising from Lake Tana in NW Ethiopia, it flows some 1,600 km (1,000 miles) southwards then north-westwards into Sudan, where it meets the White Nile at Khartoum.青尼罗河（尼罗河上游两条主要干流之一, 发源于埃塞俄比亚西北部的塔纳湖, 南流约1,600 公里, 即1,000英里, 后折向西北流入苏丹, 在喀土穆与白尼罗河汇合）。
