Bessarabia
/ˌbesəˈreɪbɪə/- a region in eastern Europe between the Dniester and Prut Rivers, from 1918 to 1940 part of Romania. The major part of the region now falls in Moldova, the remainder in Ukraine.比萨拉比亚（位于欧洲东部德涅斯特河与普鲁特河之间的地区, 1918-1940年隶属罗马尼亚, 现大部分区域隶属摩尔多瓦, 其余在乌克兰境内）。
