Schumann
/ˈʃuːmɑːn/- Schumann, Robert (Alexander) (1810-56), German composer. He was a leading romantic composer, particularly noted for his songs (including settings of poems by Heinrich Heine and Robert Burns) and piano music. His other works include four symphonies and much chamber music.
