- denoting or relating to a person whose origin is not predominantly European非(欧洲)白人血统的。
- a person whose origin is not predominantly European无欧洲血统的人。
USAGE
The term non-white has been objected to as politically incorrect, on the grounds that it assumes that the norm is white. However, although alternatives such as person of colour have been put forward in recent years, these have not yet become widespread in British or US English. Non-white continues to be broadly accepted where a collective term is required.
