Mekong
/ˈmeɪˈkɒŋ/- a river of SE Asia, which rises in the Chinese autonomous region of Tibet and flows southeast and south for 4,180km(2,600 miles) through southern China, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam to its extensive delta on the South China Sea.
