Conclusion: CT-guided percutaneous transthoracic needle aspiration biopsy is a safe and accurate method in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of lung mass, which enjoys high clinical value.
Method: Retrospectly study on 112 patients undergoing CT-guided percutaneous transthoracic needle aspiration biopsy, 94 of which were diagnosed by pathology.

Conclusion CTguided percutaneous needle aspiration for lung abscess is a safe, accurate technique and this was important for treatment of lung abscess.
