Now, thanks to a new collaboration with NASA, WorldWide Telescope has produced the most detailed spherical image of the heavens to date, along with a new 3-D, true colormap of the surface of Mars.
We select HLS color space to present both the light intensity and the spectral information, then convert the HLS color space to the RGB color space and display the sample image with 24-bit colormap.
Color separation of true colormap images is always the important content of colorimage manipulation, and the kernel technology of the map mode recognition and information acquirement.
