Some drawbacks found in GB (national standard) method for determining residue solvent in solvent extracted oil were investigated.

Lycium oil is extracted from lycium seeds by supercritical CO2 extraction. The physicochemical properties are compared with those of the oil obtained by organic solvent extraction.

The oil is extracted with suitable solvent from the oil treated with homogenizer. After removing the solvent by reduced pressure distillation, the oil is obtained finally.
