The process of a pipe production is the following: a round cast workpiece is put onto a hot rolling line where it is cut, heated, stitched and rolled till a pipe of necessary size is ready.

By insulating flange at the junction between the new and old pipe, the long line galvanic cell is "broken up" - the anode (new pipe) is electrically separated from the cathode (old pipe).

Open the relevant valves on the oil pipe line and the water pipe line.
