In this paper, the current status of research on Nb-based alloys' resistance to high temperature oxidation is reviewed, including recent advances and existing problems in this area.

Meanwhile it also exhibits some properties of ceramics such as excellent mechanical properties, high temperature stability, good resistance to thermal shock and high temperature oxidation.

Its oxidation resistance and dimensional stability at high temperature enable it to turn out accurate parts.
