In this dissertation, a line extraction method based on cubic polynomial interpolation and minimum meansquare error fitting are proposed, which can effectively extract lines out.

This algorithm can realize linear minimum meansquare error estimation of yaw rate, and on-line estimate statistical characteristic of system noise and observation noise during vehicle running.
Besides a comparison of the characteristic line, the normalized meansquare root error, the normalized mean error, and the maximum deviation are calculated and discussed.
