The application of diameter-varied magnetic agglomeration gravity separator in Ekou Iron Mine is described.

It is pointed out that magnetic agglomeration is advantageous in treatment of hot rolling wastewater, because the suspended solids in the wastewater are magnetic and can affect the stability of oil.

Drum separator cannot produce high-grade iron concentrate because it cannot remove the locked particles and gangue in the agglomeration formed in the process of magnetic separation.
