Based on the piers mode shape function, this paper studied the methodology of structure ductility coefficient by modal test and the procedure of the structures inelastic seismic force.
The results show that, due to the effect of viscoelastic damping, the attenuation coefficient increases with the increasing of modal order, while the vibrational frequencies decrease with it;
