A liquefied natural gas carrier is a tanker ship designed for transporting liquefiedgas at a temperature of minus 163 degrees Celsius, and marks an important part in the LNG supply chain.
On Saturday night, pirates seized a liquefiedgastanker 105 miles (165 kilometers) off the coast of Kenya in the Somali Basin, said officials in Singapore, where the ship is registered.
