This article reviews a stagger impulse period circuit designed by PLD. By analyzing the reason of competitive risk, the author brings forward a solution of revising the circuit structure.

A controlling method of "late switch on" is put forward, which can reduce the impulse current of linear motor in the turnback period. The reliablity of the controlling method is discussed.
