40 blind samples were examined by AGAR gelprecipitation (AGP), hemagglutination inhibitory (hi) test and reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
The results indicated that the positive rate of RPHA reached 87.5%(7/8), as compared with the positive rate of 50%(4/8) in agar gelprecipitation(AGP), RPHA was more sensitive than AGP.
The results showed that the methods of isoelectric precipitation, gel-filtration chromatography and anion-exchange chromatography were suitable for purifying the major allergens in buffalo milk.
