Experimental results were analyzed by means of built-in field enhanced ion emission model and ion neutralized models, which coincides well with the experiment results.

The results show that THz emission spectra are enhanced by the applied electrical and magnetic field, while their frequency components and bandwidths are not changed.

Compared with untreated films, the field emission properties of the treated ones are greatly enhanced.
