One State Party reiterated its concern regarding the engagement on the basis of one previous signing of the “Deed of Commitment” of Geneva Call as inconsistent with the above view.

In this connection, the Committee reiterates its concern about the flexible interpretation of the guidelines for the use of funds appropriated for general temporary assistance, which are intended to be used for the temporary replacement of staff on extended sick leave or maternity leave or the engagement of additional staff during peak workload periods, and not to finance de facto regular budget posts that are of a continuing nature (see, inter alia, A/50/7/Add.2).

Both real estate and perpetual usufruct transfers become valid through a sales agreement, which is obligatorily signed in front of public notary in the form of the notary deed.

An amount of $204,500 is proposed for travel resources in connection with technical support for the following: the establishment of the secondary active telecommunications facility in Valencia, Spain, to oversee the engineering work, construction of the site, the establishment of the data centre and the implementation of ICT systems, and to meet with airport management, Government officials and Ingeniería de Sistemas para la Defensa de España, S.A. ($106,800); the establishment of a logistics hub in Entebbe, Uganda, to meet with Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other Government officials regarding the proposed memorandum of understanding, to review plans with various missions onsite to ensure consistency of deliverables and to meet with the security assessment team to review its final report and provide feedback and comments ($97,700).

(B) The Company may, by writing under its seal, empower any person, either generally or in respect of any specified matter, as its attorney to execute deeds and instruments on its behalf and to enter into contracts and sign the same on its behalf and every deed signed by such attorney on behalf of the Company and under his seal shall bind the Company and have the same effect as if it were under the seal of the Company.

States are obliged to eliminate both de jure and de facto discrimination against women and put in place measures to achieve equality between men and women.

In addition to a continuation and possible broadening of the de facto main lines of action commenced in document 32 C/5, new themes for intersectoral initiatives may include among others, drawing also on suggestions made during the regional consultations: teacher training and ICTs, HIV/AIDS prevention education, education for sustainable development, coping with change and sustaining diversities in small islands, multilingualism, and the promotion of evidence-based policy-making through the collection and use of quality data.

By his letter dated 10 February 2012 (S/2012/85), the Secretary-General informed the Security Council that he had appointed to the Group of Experts the following individuals: Mr. Nelson Alusala of Kenya (arms); Mr. Ruben de Koning of the Netherlands (natural resources); Ms. Marie Plamadiala of the Republic of Moldova (customs and aviation); Mr. Steven Spittaels of Belgium (finance); and Mr. Steven Hege of the United States of America (armed groups and Coordinator).

(v) for any penalty imposed on any member of the Group under section 42 of the Estate Duty Ordinance or the equivalent thereof under the laws of any juridiction outside Hong Kong by reason of any member of the Group defaulting, at any time after the date of the deed of indemnity, in any obligation to give information to the Commissioner under section 42(1) of the Estate Duty Ordinance or the equivalent authority thereof under the laws of any jurisdiction outside Hong Kong.

In order to ensure that women’s de jure equality is fully reflected in reality, efforts are being made to speed up the advancement of women’s rights.

My Government also understands and shares the concern about the issue of humanitarian access and agrees with the proposal that the alternatives stated in the Secretary-General’s report aimed at reaching people in need of humanitarian assistance — such as the temporary cessation of hostilities, humanitarian pauses, humanitarian corridors, de-confliction arrangements and days of tranquillity — must be tailored to suit the particular circumstances of each conflict.

The report provided an update on the progress made in the implementation of the recommendations of the fifteenth session (2009) and on the activities carried out by the Organization with its partners: UNIDROIT, INTERPOL, ICOM, WCO, the Italian Carabinieri and the French Office Central de lutte contre le trafic des biens culturels (OCBC) in the fight against trafficking in cultural property.

The addendum to section 33 (A/64/6 (Sect. 33)/Add.1) was submitted pursuant to paragraph 33.11 of the proposed programme budget, in which the Secretary-General indicated that he would submit detailed proposals with respect to the project for the renovation and refurbishment of the Palais des Nations in Geneva (known as the “strategic heritage plan”) to the General Assembly at its sixty-fourth session.

Therefore, the following recommendations are addressed not only to States parties but also to other relevant actors including non-State actors who may have de facto control over areas in which the inalienable rights of the child, including his/her right to education, must be respected, protected and fulfilled.

With regard to recommendations to abolish the death penalty, pursuant to the revised federal criminal code, the death penalty was only applied for exceptionally grave crimes, and actual executions rarely occurred, amounting to a de facto moratorium.

However, as established in its two previous final reports (S/2010/596 and S/2011/738), the Group evaluates the challenges related to the integration of former armed groups into the national security forces, notably the Forces armées de la République démocratique du Congo (FARDC), as well as the involvement of criminal networks within security forces in the exploitation and trade in natural resources, thus undermining mining industry and security sector reform efforts.

The Group’s final report of 2011 concluded that National Deputy Honourable Dieudonné Bakungu Mitondeke was an important financial and political supporter of the Alliance des patriotes pour un Congo libre et souverain (APCLS).

(C) Other than the administrative fee for transfer of ownership, you will be responsible for all expenses in connection with the transfer of ownership such as the fee charged by the Housing Authority for approval of draft Deed of Assignment, charges relating to any amendment to mortgage arrangement (if required), stamp duty and execution of assignment etc.

The representative further pointed to the gap between de jure and de facto equality and the need to address legal discrimination against woman and underscored the importance of the establishment of a new gender entity in the United Nations.

4.4 When any one or more or all of the account holders or the users of the service die(s), any act, thing, deed or matter made or done by us pursuant to the requests, instructions or directions of the Authorized Signatory or any of them after such death but before the actual receipt of notice in writing thereof by us shall be absolutely and conclusively binding on the account holder or the user of the service, his estate and personal representative and any party or parties claiming through or under the account holder or the user of the service or any one or more of them.

(3) Notwithstanding anything contained in article 119(1), article 131A shall apply in respect of the consideration of the exercise of any option or right of first refusal under any current non-competition deed between China National Cereals, Oils & Foodstuffs Corporation (“COFCO”), COFCO (Hong Kong) Limited (“COFCO (HK)”) and the Company, as amended or supplemented from time to time, or to consider the entering into of any transaction between the Company and/or any of its subsidiaries, on the one part, and COFCO and/or any of its associates (as defined in the Listing Rules) on the other, that would constitute a connected transaction under the Listing Rules (“Related Transaction”).

As reflected in the official records of the sixty-sixth session of the General Assembly (A/66/PV.11), the President of Argentina, Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, in her address to the General Assembly on 21 September 2011, inter alia, stated with respect to the Falkland Islands (Malvinas) that 10 General Assembly resolutions, 29 resolutions of the Special Committee on decolonization, 11 resolutions and 8 declarations of the Organization of American States, as well as the resolutions of various forums, such as the Ibero-American forums, the Union of South American Nations, the Southern Common Market, and meetings of Arab and African countries had demanded that the issue of sovereignty be addressed.

Vietnam, the Philippines and Malaysia have de facto military occupation and administration of most of the disputed islands, although the largest feature, Itu Aba Island, is under the control of the Taiwan government.
