Betelgeuse (/ˈbiːtəldʒuːz/, /ˈbɛtəldʒuːz/ or /ˈbiːtəldʒuːs/), also known by its Bayer designation Alpha Orionis (shortened to α Orionis or α Ori), is the ninth-brightest star in the night sky and second-brightest in the constellation of Orion.

参宿四（Betelgeuse），也就是拜耳命名法中著名的獵戶座α（α Orionis或α Ori），是全天第九亮星，也是獵戶座第二亮星，只比鄰近的参宿七（獵戶座β）暗淡一點。
