The use of such tags shall only be authorized when the accumulated catch amounts are within their quotas or catch limits of each management year, including, where appropriate, individual quotas allocated to vessels or traps.

These customers are typically under-funded for retirement and helping them accumulate saving constitutes a significant opportunity for long-term savings and retirement income providers, at a time when the ability of the state to intervene is significantly diminished.

Upon sale or retirement of property and equipment, the related cost and accumulated depreciation are removed from the accounts, and any gain or loss is credited or charged to non-operating gain or loss in the period of disposal.
