Environmental awareness initiatives not only raise awareness among VINAX employees, who are needless to say members of the LIXIL group, they also inspire pride as employees.

On December 1st , the LIXIL Group, which comprises JS Group Corporation (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshiaki Fujimori) and the companies operating businesses under its control, is releasing its Environmental Vision, which is a long-term vision for sustained efforts to address global environmental problems.

The LIXIL Group is committed to the active and continued promotion of environmentally-friendly management, which we plan to achieve not only by putting this long-term vision into practice within the Group, but also by spreading it to others in the larger society using a variety of means.

LIXIL holds classes with the “Let us think about and study water” text that it developed with BAJ for a broad range of educational targets, including children of different school ages, youth groups, women that work at markets, and men that manage farms.

In 2011, in its fifth year of operations, LIXIL staffs have traveled on environmental awareness program missions to Hoa Binh Province to the north of Hanoi, to Hue in central Vietnam, and to Ho Chí Minh in southern Vietnam.
