For its part, according to information provided by Argentina, the Argentine Republic has rejected the territorial application effected by the United Kingdom of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Kyoto Protocol, the Agreement on the Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels, the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals and the Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, on the grounds that the Falkland Islands (Malvinas), along with the surrounding maritime areas, were an integral part of the territory of Argentina.

It is proposed to establish 60 posts (7 National Officer and 53 national General Service) for the following staff of Radio Okapi that currently hold contracts with the Fondation Hirondelle: 7 Public Information Officers (National Officer), 8 Radio Broadcast Technicians (national General Service), 8 Drivers (national General Service), 6 Administrative Assistants (national General Service), 23 Journalists (national General Service) and 8 Programme Producers/Presenters (national General Service).

Lastly, a draft guide of relations between National Commissions and field offices has been elaborated by an informal group of secretaries-general and directors of field offices and will be finalized at the end of the present cycle of National Commission consultations.

Clause 11 of the Bill proposes to add sections 67(2A) and 67(2B) to the effect that at the end of the trial of an election petition that relates to the inclusion of the name of a person in, or the exclusion of the name of a person from a precedence list, CFI must determine whether the name is to be included in the list, and at the end of the trial of an election petition that relates to the ranking of a person on a precedence list, CFI must determine whether the ranking of the person on the list is correct and, if not correct, what is the correct ranking.
