International human rights standards also provide a sound framework for mainstreaming the protection of children from violence in the national policy agenda, helping to avoid fragmented, diluted or simply reactive solutions and influencing lasting change through national implementation informed by good practices and lessons learned.

(2) The Board may do all acts and things considered necessary or expedient to give effect to any capitalisation pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (a) of this Article, with full power to the Board to make such provisions as it thinks fit in the case of shares becoming distributable infractions (including provisions whereby, in whole or in part, fractional entitlements are aggregated and sold and the net proceeds distributed to those entitled, or are disregarded or rounded up or down or whereby the benefit of fractional entitlements accrues to the Company rather than to the Members concerned).

(C) The number of Conversion Shares to be issued on each conversion shall be determined by dividing the aggregate Notional Value of the Relevant Convertible Preference Shares by the Conversion Price applicable on the Conversion Date provided that no fractionof an Ordinary Share arising on conversion shall be allotted and all fractionalentitlements shall be dealt with in accordance with paragraph 13 in this Bye-law 6(C).

Any general meeting declaring a dividend may by ordinary resolution, upon the recommendation of the Board, direct payment or satisfaction of such dividend wholly or in part by the distribution of specific assets, and in particular of paid up shares or debentures of any other company, and the Board shall give effect to such direction, and where any difficulty arises in regard to such distribution the Board may settle it as it thinks expedient, and in particular may issue fractional certificates or authorize any person to sell and transfer any fractions or may ignore fractions altogether, and mayfix the value for distribution purposes of any such specific assets and may determine that cash payments shall be made to any Members upon the footing of the value so fixed in order to secure equality of distribution and may vest any such specific assets in trustees as may seem expedient to the Board.

Glass of suitable type, thickness and size should be selected to provide an appropriate degree of safety, taking into account the intended use and the possibility of catastrophic consequences in the event of breakage.

These savings stem from the provision of more cost-effective ground handling services in-house in Khartoum and El Obeid for the full period rather than contracting out to commercial vendors, the reduction of air flight hours, as improvements in maintenance and repairs to helipads have allowed for more efficient air fleet management that result in lower requirements for helicopters to position or reposition in Kadugli, the reduction in the holding of spare parts as major maintenance work for ageing medium and heavy vehicle fleets, as accident repair and painting is outsourced, the reduction in vehicle replacements, as vehicles are redeployed from Khartoum to the sectors and team sites in support of Comprehensive Peace Agreement-related activities, and dispatch service is outsourced in part in Khartoum to accommodate the increase in demand, as fewer vehicles are available.

In the supplementary information provided to the Advisory Committee, the Secretary-General indicates that the original ICSC proposal reflecting a 0.59 per cent increase was supported by five out of the eight member organizations that provided comments; the other three insisted on a zerogrowth budget.

Save as disclosed above, as at 31 March 2010,none ofthe Directors or chief executive of the Company or their respective associates had any interests or short positions in the shares, underlying shares of equity derivatives and debentures of the Company or any of its associated corporations (within the meaning of Part XV of the SFO) which would have to be notified to the Company and the Stock Exchange pursuant to Divisions 7 and 8 of Part XV of the SFO (including interests or short positions which they are taken or deemed to have under such provisions of the SFO), or which were required to be kept under Section 352 of the SFO, or as otherwise notified to the Company and the Stock Exchange pursuant to the minimum standards of dealing by the Directors of listed issuers as referred to in Rule 5.46 of the GEM Listing Rules.
