(d) On 11 November 2008, young people in Bossangoa (north-west) attacked a United Nations truck delivering humanitarian supplies, stealing food.

The Committee was informed that the Strategic Air Operations Centre exercises global operational control over strategic, out-of-mission area and inter-mission air movements, ensuring that United Nations aircraft are deployed according to the Secretariat’s concept of global fleet utilization and fleet optimization, whereas the Transportation and Movements Integrated Control Centre focuses on planning for the movement of personnel and cargo, and optimizing resources at the regional level (see also A/64/660, paras. 137-142).

Such information is to include embarkation and destination points as well as routes, carriers and means of transportation used to smuggle migrants; the identity and methods of organizations or organized criminal groups involved; the authenticity and proper form of travel documents issued by a State party and the theft or related misuse of blank travel or identity documents; means and methods of concealment and transportation of persons and the unlawful alternation, reproduction or acquisition or other misuse of travel or identity documents and ways of detecting them; legislative experiences and practices and measures to prevent and combat the smuggling of migrants; and scientific and technological information useful to law enforcement so as to enhance each other’s ability to prevent, detect and investigate the smuggling of migrants and related conduct.

The 15-point resolution passed by the Malaysian Parliament, inter alia, demands that the United Nations Security Council censure Israel, calls for the Security Council to refer the attack to the International Criminal Court (ICC), urges the United Nations to obtain an advisory opinion from the International Court of Justice (ICJ), supports the demands by the international community, particularly the Human Rights Council, for an accountable and fully independent investigation on the attack, demands that Israel not block any humanitarian aid convoy to the Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza, consistent with Security Council resolution 1860 (2009); andappeals to the international community to continue extending humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The adopted annex or amendment to an annex shall be communicated by the secretariat to the Depositary, who shall circulate it to all Parties for their acceptance.

The Republic of Korea called upon the international community to respect the principle of non-refoulement, refraining from returning a person to a territory where he or she would be in danger of being subject to torture or punishment.

(a) The steps taken to ensure that no one is involuntarily placed in psychiatric institutions for non-medical reasons; that any involuntary hospitalization for medical reasons is based on the advice of independent psychiatric experts; and that decisions by the State party to involuntarily hospitalize individuals in psychiatric institutions may be appealed.

(i) To refrain from returning persons, including in cases related to terrorism, to their countries of origin or to a third State whenever such transfer would be contrary to their obligations under international law, in particular international human rights, humanitarian and refugee law, including in cases where there are substantial grounds for believing that they would be in danger of subjection to torture, or where their life or freedom would be threatened in violation of international refugee law on account of their race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group or political opinion, bearing in mind obligations that States may have to prosecute individuals notreturned

Whether to carry manufactured and agricultural products to international markets, food to rural and urban communities, workers to their jobs, the young to schools or the sick to hospitals, transport is essential.

(b) if served or delivered in any other manner contemplated by these Articles, shall be deemed to have been served or delivered at the timeof personal service ordelivery or, as the case may be, at the time of the relevant despatch or transmission; and in proving such service or delivery a certificate in writing signed by the Secretary or other officer of the Company or other person appointed by the Board as to the act and time of such service, delivery, despatch or transmission shall be conclusive evidence thereof.

He claims that it is also contrary to Sweden's international obligation not to return anyone to a country where he or she would be at risk of torture or other serious human rights violations.

(c) if served or delivered in any other manner contemplated by these Bye-laws, shall be deemed to have been served or delivered at the time of personal service or delivery or, as the case may be, at the time of the relevant despatch, transmission or publication; and in proving such service or delivery a certificate in writing signed by the Secretary or other officer of the Company or other person appointed by the Board as to the fact and time of such service, delivery, despatch, transmission or publication shall be conclusive evidence thereof; and

The Aliens Act also states that an alien may not be returned to a country where he/she risks the death penalty or being subjected to torture or other inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, or where the alien is not protected against being sent to such a country.

(B) Subject to due compliance with the rules of the stock exchange in the Relevant Territory, and to obtaining all necessary consents, if any, required and such consents being in full force and effect, any notice or document (including any document or notice issued or to be issued by the Company for the information and/or action of holders of any of its securities and whether or not given or issued under these Articles) may also be served by the Company on any shareholder or holder of other securities of the Company by electronic means

(1) Any Notice or other document delivered or sent by post to or left at the registered address of any Member in pursuance of these Articles shall, notwithstanding that such Member is then dead or bankrupt or that any other event has occurred, and whether or not the Company has notice of the death or bankruptcy or other event, be deemed to have been duly served or delivered in respect of any share registered in the name of such Member as sole or joint holder unless his name shall, at the timeof the service or delivery of the Notice or document, have been removed from the Register as the holder of the share, and such service or delivery shall for all purposes be deemed a sufficient service or delivery of such Notice or document on all persons interested (whether jointly with or as claiming through or under him) in the share.
