In the Medical Services Section, the establishment of 15 additional national posts (6 National Officers and 9 national General Service staff) is proposed, as the Section has over the past years expanded the services it provides, which include round-the-clock operation of the UNOCI headquarters clinic, which is now functioning at level I-plus rather than the previous level I; patients are followed upat their homes after discharge from level III hospitals; patients are regularly visited in the 11 level III hospitals in Abidjan and in Sector West and Sector East; doctors in the regional headquarters perform outreach activity by visiting remote offices twice a week; support is provided to the Government during important functions and to the United Nations country team as part of the United Nations integrated framework; and medical support is proposed to be provided eight hours a day at the logistics base in Koumassi as opposed to the current two hours a day.

He also highlighted the inclusion of a new section on “Managing for Impact”, which focuses on results-based programming and management and deals with a number of financial and administrative considerations aiming at improving the quality of programme delivery, efficiency, effectiveness, accountability and transparency.

It does not confer “unbridled license” that gives immunity for the exercise thereof without responsibility, which can affect other social rights or values that require protection.

(d) Action by the Department of Peacekeeping Operations to ensure that notes verbales sent to permanent missions seeking personnel, such as military observers, individual contributions to the police component of a United Nations operation and seconded corrections officers, make Member States aware of the expectation of the Secretariat that any person who serves as part of a United Nations operation is to have received predeployment training in relation to the zero tolerance policy and is aware that certain conduct may amount to a crime for which they will be held accountable.

This hyperspectral data will enable meteorologists to provide better daily forecasts, predict severe weather and atmospheric instability more accurately, and improve location and storm tracking and analysis of the intensity of hurricanes and typhoons, resulting in earlier evacuations that can improve the preservation of lives and property.

The proposed budget of the Logistics Base for the period from 1 July 2010 to 30 June 2011 (A/64/698) was $72,017,800, which was 24.3 per cent higher than the resources approved for 2009/10, reflecting an increase in staffing, mainly to strengthen the Standing Police Capacity, establish a Justice and Corrections Standing Capacity and relocate the Field Central Review Board secretariat; additional requirements for construction services tocreate equipment room and office space for Communications and Information Technology Services and the data centre and network communications centre and to upgrade the electrical system at the Logistics Base; and additional requirements to acquire communications and information technology equipment for the secondary telecommunications facility at Valencia.

43 At the trial or hearing of any action or other proceedings for the recovery of any money due for any call, it shall be sufficient to prove that the name of the member sued is entered in the register as the holder, or one of the holders, of the shares in respect of which such debt accrued; that the resolution making the call is duly recorded in the minute book; and that notice of such call was duly given to the member sued, in pursuance of these Articles; and it shall not be necessary to prove the appointment of the Directors who made such call, nor any other matters whatsoever, and the proof of the matters aforesaid shall be conclusive evidence of the debt.
