The Republic of Azerbaijan has repeatedly stated that, despite ongoing political efforts towards the earliest resolution of the conflict on the basis of the generally accepted norms and principles of international law, the policy and practice of the Republic of Armenia, the occupying Power, implemented inter alia through various illegal activities in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, clearly testify to its intention to secure the annexation of these territories (see, for example, the most recent document circulated by Azerbaijan: A/64/760-S/2010/211).

The Islamic Republic of Iran said the UPR could not appropriately address this specific situation, and the gross and systematic human rights violations over 60 years required the particular attention of the international community.

Indeed, the promotion of the safety of media professionals was a critical concern in 2010, the UNESCO Director-General publicly condemning the killings of a total of 62 journalists.

In its resolutions entitled “Applicability of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War, of 12 August 1949, to the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and the other occupied Arab territories”; “Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and the occupied Syrian Golan”; “Israeli practices affecting the human rights of the Palestinian people in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem”; and “The occupied Syrian Golan”, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to report to it at its sixty-sixth session on the implementation of the resolutions (resolutions 65/103-65/106).

On deliverance, the passport requests in return that each new citizen take responsibility for their actions: to dedicate themselves to combat all acts of barbarity, to fight against intimidation and poverty, to support social progress, to protect the environment and endangered species, to safeguard human dignity and to defend the inalienable rights to liberty, justice and peace in the world.

We find reasonable the ideas put forward by Mr. Jack Lang, the Special Adviser to the Secretary-General on Legal Issues related to Piracy off the Coast of Somalia, in his recent report (S/2011/30, annex), including the proposal to establish a system of Somalia courts comprising a specialized court in Puntland, a specialized court in Somaliland and a specialized extraterritorial Somali court outside the country.

In its resolution 65/169, entitled “Preventing and combating corrupt practices and transfer of assets of illicit origin and returning such assets, in particular to the countries of origin, consistent with the United Nations Convention against Corruption”, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to submit to it at its sixty-seventh session a report on the implementation of the resolution and a report on the fourth session of the Conference.

Despite the international community’s condemnation of such abusive practices, Israel remained heedless of humanitarian and moral standards and had persisted for decades in disregarding resolutions such as General Assembly resolution 2443 (XXIII), had consistently refused to allow the Fourth Committee of the General Assembly to visit the occupied Arab territories and had shown no desire to cooperate with the international community to establish a just and comprehensive peace in the region.

The hunger strikers are bravely aiming to call attention to all of these illegal, abusive Israeli practices along with the illegal practice of administrative detention and to urge the international community to take action to compel Israel, the occupying Power, to cease these deplorable practices and to release the thousands of Palestinian civilians, including children, women and elected officials, that it is inhumanely holding in captivity in its prisons and detention centres, and to whose ranks Israel continues to add every single day with its ongoing arrest campaign.

In part II of the same decision on “The Promotion of Dialogue among Peoples” the Executive Board, noting the increasing alarm worldwide due to continuing acts of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, furthermore stressed “the importance of taking stock of existing mechanisms within UNESCO and of identifying potential mechanisms for the promotion of dialogue among peoples through a better reciprocal knowledge of cultural, ethnic, linguistic and religious diversity …”.

Such Israeli aggression regrettably resulted in the wounding of a French national, who was hit by a gas grenade while she was in a demonstration in the village of Nabi Saleh, where 12 other people were also injured as they protested against Israel’s continuing land confiscation in the village.

In addition, given serious infractions in Zimbabwe, the brand stopped purchasing diamonds from the Marange region in 2009.

Such measures included (a) supplementary guides of elective subjects; (b) trial-run for Ethics and Religious Studies and General Studies for providing more appropriate choices to students and enhancing a smooth interface between the basic education and NSS in special school for students with ID; (c) a wide range of professional development programmes from subject-based knowledge and related pedagogy to sharing on good practices; (d) developing a web-based resource platform (launched in April 2011) for sharing the learning and teaching resources with teachers; and (e) coordinating NSS Coordinators Network meetings for teachers' sharing of good practices.

In this regard, the Security Council welcomes the news on 1 May 2011 that Osama bin Laden will never again be able to perpetrate such acts of terrorism, and reaffirms that terrorism cannot and should not be associated with any religion, nationality, civilization or group.

They do not like Islam associated with violence, they do not like people who keep to themselves and reject traditional practices, they do not want dead terrorists buried in local cemeteries, and they do not approve of firebrands preaching jihad in their local mosques.

According to that judgment, "since it causes unjustifiable and discriminatory interference with the equality of candidates and political groups before the electoral law, and with the freedom of citizens to choose their representatives, such behaviour (acts of violence against the leaders of an opposition party) constitutes a clear and deliberate violation of both the text of the abovementioned Act and article 21 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights".
