Furthermore, as the only international organization dealing with libraries and archives, UNESCO had a unique comparative advantage and a key role to play in promoting access to information, literacy and knowledge through these institutions.

Therefore, many developing countries are interested in having theirown satellites, and hence, such countries may also contribute to the creation of small-satellite constellations for socio-economic benefits.
