Jamaica attaches importance to the objectives underpinning these Conventions and will keep them under review with the aim of taking a decision on ratification.

With regard to the possible funding of future cluster consultations, participants felt that this should be a charge against the regular budget and that specific provisions should be included among the indirect costs for each cluster office.

Not only is it inconsistent with the principles of the revealed religions, of democracy and of international conventions; it also contradicts the lofty human ideals of brotherhood, solidarity and justice.

In that regard, we call on all actors to act in good faith for the proper implementation of the conclusions of the 2010 Review Conference of the Parties to the NPT concerning the convening in 2012 of a conference on the establishment of a nuclear-weapon-free zone in the Middle East.
