The Commissariat for Refugees keeps records of internally displaced persons from Kosovo and Metohija and issues displacement documents; in the field of admission and care, the Commissariat accommodates and supports internally displaced persons in collective centres of the Republic of Serbia outside of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija, as well as in 17 collective centres in the territory of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija; provides individual humanitarian assistance to internally displaced persons and their associations within its possibilities; puts forward and implements measures to improve the living conditions of internally displaced persons.
