One representative suggested that implementing agencies should also develop rolling three-year business plans in addition to the yearly business plans currently submitted to the Executive Committee.

The introduction of the simplified programme results structure and multi-year/rolling workplans will lead to lighter planning processes, more effective and flexible programming, and alignment to government cycles, which together will contribute to the achievement of better results for children.

In preparing this document, the Secretariat noted that similar analysis of the data used for updating the model three-year rolling phase-out plan are also done in other documents that are considered by the Executive Committee.
