Clause 3 adds new definitions relating to drug-related driving offences, and the most significant are the definitions of drug, specified illicit drug (basically the drugs specified in existing Schedule 1A to the Ordinance) and preliminary drug test (that is, Drug Influence Recognition Observation, Impairment Test and Rapid Oral Fluid Test).
