Significant numbers of road traffic fatalities and injuries can be prevented by addressing the leading causes, which include excess speed, lack of seat-belt and child restraint use, drinking and driving, lack of helmet use by riders on two-wheel and three-wheel motorized vehicles, poorly designed and inadequately maintained roads, unsafe infrastructure and vehicles, and inadequate trauma care.

(c) Without prejudice to the provisions of Clauses 24 and 25, when a Card has been cancelled or terminated by the Cardmember or Hang Seng or when a Syndicate or a Partnership has been dissolved or when a Syndicate Account or a Partnership Account has been terminated, it is the duty of the Cardmember, the Syndicate Treasurer or the Managing Partner to request for updated Account Statement or to inquire with Hang Seng from time to time on the outstanding balance of the Card Account, the Syndicate Account or the Partnership Account forrepayment purpose and interest and finance charge (where applicable) shall continue to accrue thereon until full repayment.

5.3 If you fail to comply with any of your obligations and/or to meet your liabilities under any of the provisions of this Client Agreement including this Schedule, including without limitation failure to provide Margin, we may at our absolute discretion and without prior notice to you or your consent; (a) decline to accept further Instructions in respect of Exchange Traded Options Business; (b) Close Out some or all of your Client Contracts with us; (c) enter into Contracts or transactions in Securities, Futures or Commodities, in order to settle obligations arising out to or to hedge the risks to which we are exposed in relation to your failure; and/or (d) dispose of the Margin or any part thereof, and apply the proceeds thereof to discharge your liabilities to us, and any proceeds remaining after discharge of all your liabilities to us shall be returned to you.

(n) To receive money on deposit or loan and borrow or raise money in such manner as the Company shall think fit, and in particular by the issue of debentures, or debenture stock (perpetual or otherwise) and so secure the repayment of any money borrowed, raised or owing mortgage, charge or lien upon all or any of the property or assets of the Company (both present and future), including its uncalled capital, and also by a similar mortgage, charge or lien to secure and guarantee the performance by the Company or any other person or company of any obligation undertaken by the Company or any other person or company as the case may be.

We should notify the potential loan borrowers of the total amount of loan incurred upon graduation, the estimated repayment amount, the repayment terms and conditions, as well as their responsibility to repay and the consequences of default when giving out loans.
