On 26 October 2011, the Secretary-General reappointed Mercedes Doretti (Argentina) for a final period of three years, and appointed Natasa Kandic (Serbia), Maria Cristina de Mendonca (Portugal), Morad el-Shazly (Egypt) and Anastasia Pinto (India) for a three-year term, renewable once.

The Executive Board elected as President Ms. Sanja Štiglic, Permanent Representative of Slovenia to the United Nations; and as Vice-Presidents, Mr. Daffa-Alla Elhag Ali Osman, Permanent Representative of the Sudan to the United Nations; Mr. Peter van der Vliet, Minister Plenipotentiary of the Permanent Mission of the Netherlands to the United Nations; Ms. Gillian Joseph, First Secretary of the Permanent Mission of Antigua and Barbuda to the United Nations; and Ms. Grata Werdaningtyas, First Secretary of the Permanent Mission of Indonesia to the United Nations.

In order to continue the work of the past session, as I have already informed delegations in my letter of 2 November 2009, Her Excellency Ms. Sanja Štiglic, Permanent Representative of Slovenia, and His Excellency Mr. Jorge Argüello, Permanent Representative of Argentina, have agreed to serve as co-facilitators of the Ad Hoc Working Group.

The Secretary-General has the honour to transmit to the Members of the General Assembly the interim report of the Special Rapporteur on the right to food, Olivier De Schutter, submitted in accordance with General Assembly resolution 64/159.
