Other recommendations were made, relating to overdue reporting by States parties, possible joint general comments, lists of issues to be covered, participation by non-governmental organizations and national human rights institutions, the development of indicators, and facilitation of access to treaty body sessions.

In general terms, the comments reflect appreciation for the structure and the main lines of the text drawn up by IBC, while at the same time showing that positions remain divided on a certain number of issues which will certainly be subject to further reflection and discussions.

In many instances, people are not aware that they are stigmatizing certain groups, since their stereotypes are widely prevalent in society, considered ―normal‖ and ―acceptable‖.
