It may also involve cooperation between two or more courts or, when permitted by domestic law, administration of the multiple proceedings concerning group members in a single court.

UNODC should cooperate and coordinate action with other organizations, in particular UNESCO and INTERPOL, and join in these activities where appropriate.

In its resolution 2011/35, the Economic and Social Council invited UNODC to cooperate with other international organizations active in the field of forensics, including the International Telecommunication Union and its Lead Study Group on Identity Management, as well as the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) and the International Civil Aviation Organization, in areas such as the setting of technical standards for documents, the forensic examination of fraudulent documents and the compilation of data that could be used for pattern analysis and the prevention of identity-related crime.

By addressing the manufacturing sector first, the Government of Turkey will be able to meet its Montreal Protocol obligations whilst continuing to work with and support smaller users and the refrigeration service sector to phase down over a more extended period.

In this connection, it is worth mentioning that the UNESCO project on HIV/AIDS education sector responses, supported by Japan through its Funds-in-Trust programme for capacity development, is yielding extremely positive results in that the project implementation is not only ahead of schedule but is also gaining additional partners to work with (e.g. Belgium) to scale up the project’s outreach and achievements.
