To encourage more young people to attend training so as to enhance their employability, we will, starting from the next programme year, provide transport allowance to trainees of YPTP and YWETS for pre-employment training.

To strengthen the support for youth employment, the LD plans to set up two new Youth Employment Resource Centres, one in Kowloon and the other in the New Territories, to provide one-stop advisory and support services on employment and self-employment to past and existing trainees of YPTP and YWETS as well as all youths aged between 15-29.

Trainees aged 15 to 19 who join the Programme for the first time will, within 4 to 6 weeks after the receipt of the acknowledgment email, receive notification letter, providing information on the arrangement of Core Course and the training body providing case management service.

These include the Youth Pre-employment Training Programme and Youth Work Experience and Training Scheme (YPTP&YWETS) for the youths, the Employment Programme for the Middle-aged (EPM) and the Work Orientation and Placement Scheme (WOPS) for persons with disabilities.

Save as disclosed above, as at the Latest Practical Date, the Directors are not aware of any other person who had an interest or short position in the Shares or underlying Shares of the Company which would fall to be disclosed to the Company under the provisions of Divisions 2 and 3 of Part XV of the SFO, or who was, directly or indirectly, interested in 10% or more of the nominal value of any class of share capital, or options in respect of such capital, carrying rights to vote in all circumstances at general meetings of any other member of the Group.

Concrete follow-up initiatives have included the organization of specific training sessions with a view to stimulating decision- and policy-makers to enact the right of universal online access to public and government-held records, to identify and promote repositories of information and knowledge in the public domain and to make them accessible to all, as well as to undertake the preservation and digitization of public domain information held by governments.

To every such separate general meeting the provisions of these Bye-laws relating to general meetings shall mutatis mutandis apply, but so that the necessary quorum shall be not less than two persons holding or representing by proxy (or, in the case of a member being a corporation, as the duly authorised representative of such corporation) at least one-third in nominal value of the issued shares of that class, and at an adjourned meeting not less than two persons holding or representing by proxy (or, in the case of a member being a corporation, as the duly authorised representative of such corporation) shares of that class, and that any holder of shares of the class present in person or by proxy (or, in the case of a member being a corporation, as the duly authorised representative of such corporation) may demand a poll.
