In response, a policy brief entitled “Scaling-up Nutrition: A Framework for Action” was published in 2010, as the product of a broad informal partnership and intensive programme of work that included a series of consultations hosted by the Centre for Global Development, the International Conference on Nutrition, the United Nations Standing Committee on Nutrition, the United States Agency for International Development, the United Nations Children’s Fund and the World Bank; many developing country partners, civil society organizations, bilateral partners, the United Nations and multilateral agencies were also involved.

Basing on contents provided by the user, the NLC can prepare a nutrition label in tabular format showing nutrient contents in (i) absolute amount per 100 gram (g) or per 100 millilitre (ml) of food; (ii) absolute amount per package (in g or in ml) of food for food products with a single serving, or per serving (in g or in ml) of food for food products with more than one serving; (iii) a combination of the above; or (iv) a combination of the above with relative amount expression as a percentage of nutrient reference value stipulated in Schedule 7 of the Amendment Regulation (if such value is available).

In accordance with paragraph 2, section 16, of Contract No. LG-M/ 4600001832 of 7 August 2009 concluded between the NATO Maintenance and Supply Agency (NAMSA), the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine and the State-run enterprise Ukroboronservice (hereinafter, the executing agent) for the destruction of 15,000 tonnes of ammunition, the executing agent is liable for following and must adhere strictly to safety and environmental protection procedures set out in the terms of reference that form an integral part of the contract.

With significant input from UNICEF, the United Nations Standing Committee on Nutrition was reoriented in 2009 to enable a more prominent role of the United Nations in nutrition.

(h) Increased incidents of persecution against unrecognized religious minorities, particularly members of the Baha’i faith, including attacks on Baha’is, including in State-sponsored media, increasing evidence of efforts by the State to identify, monitor and arbitrarily detain Baha’is, preventing members of the Baha’i faith from attending university and from sustaining themselves economically, the confiscation and destruction of their property, the vandalizing of their cemeteries and the sentencing of seven Baha’i leaders to ten years’ imprisonment despite being repeatedly denied the due process of law that they are constitutionally guaranteed, including the right to timely and adequate access to legal representation of their choice and to a fair and open trial

The real issue is whether the objective of the anti-monopolization clause is to prevent monopolization by a single applicant (regardless of whether it is a State, a State enterprise or individual), or whether the objective is to prevent monopolization by a single State member of the Authority?

There is also greater alignment among the concerned United Nations agencies through the United Nations Standing Committee on Nutrition.

I should like to recall that the Government of Iraq initially planned for the oil-metering system to become fully operational by the end of 2011, except for one State company, which will be completed by 2012.

(iii) If the application is submitted by a State or a State enterprise, does it include a statement by the State or the sponsoring State certifying that the applicant has the necessary financial resources to meet the estimated costs of the proposed plan of work for exploration (regulation 13 (3))?

The company Export Development Canada is ready to provide the Ukrainian State enterprise Ukrkosmos, which is under the management of NSAU, with the sum of US$ 254.6 million in credit under State guarantees for a 10-year period.

Of the 16 rigid foam projects for the replacement of CFC-11 with pentane that have been approved under the Fund, one project in Serbia (approved at the 35th Meeting) had production baseline equipment very similar to that installed at Iraq Steel and Nassr State (i.e., foaming machine with a mixing head with a maximum output capacity of 15 kg/min and polyol and MDI metering pumps each with a maximum capacity of 7.5 kg/min).

A foreign official for purposes of the FCPA is an officer or employee of a foreign government or department, agency, or instrumentality thereof, or any person acting in an official capacity for or on behalf of such government, department, agency, or instrumentality, including officers and other employees of state-owned and operated enterprises.

The costs for the proposed high pressure foaming machine were very high (i.e., US $290,000 each for the Iraq Steel and Nassr State plants, and US $130,000 for Baghdad Industries) as compared to similar equipment in other approved projects.

In that regard, the Committee encourages the State party to foster an effective multicultural learning environment and to take into account the provisions of the Convention in the draft national minimum curriculum for early education and care, and compulsory education.

These are described as "unlawful detention centres", often housed in state-run hotels, nursing homes or psychiatric hospitals, which "sprang into existence after a network of official police detention centres used to house people who did not have proper residence permits was closed in 2003.

However, the gender wage gap is largest in the most liberalized sector (foreign-invested enterprises) and smallest in the least liberalized sector (stateowned enterprises) (Maurer-Fazio/Hughes, 2002).
