To reduce the poverty of families with children, the benefits for families in risk of poverty have been increased, the period of payment of parental benefit has been extended, and the amounts of benefits for families with many children have been increased.

Recognizing that social safety nets allow governments to let producer prices to rise and bring about supply responses while protecting the food security of the poor in crises, the Conference urged member countries to strengthen social safety net programmes as a means of protecting the consumption of the poor during crises.

Some of our smaller customers who struggledto find funding were especially cautious when signing or renewing contracts, and certain deals were more difficult to conclude due to aggressive competition.

The long-term objectives of the state for reducing poverty include reducing and preventing poverty of families with children, preventing exclusion of children with special needs, improving independent coping of people with disabilities, ensuring adequate income for elderly people, ensuring decent social assistance, and preventing long-term dependency on assistance and benefits.
