The citizen concern expressed most frequently in public opinion surveys in all post-conflict countries is the unsustainably high unemployment rate and lack of opportunities for legitimate means of survival that is common to them all.

The project continued to work towards empowering poor and out-of-school girls in Cambodia, Indonesia and Nepal by helping them to acquire appropriate technology-related knowledge and skills, which would open the door to more job opportunities.

Lastly, on behalf of Morocco, I wish to state once again our full and continued support for the Palestinian people’s right to an independent viable State of their own, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, and also our support for the resolution of the Arab-Israeli conflict so that there might be peace and stability for all the peoples of the region, to make cooperation and recovery possible.
